How to Dry Fish Jerky in a Hot Air Fish Dehydrator without Oil Out?
Setp 1,choosing right fish. Generally lean and fresh fish will take less time to dry and it will be kept longer than the fattier fish.But if only having fat fish, it is also can be used to dry. Because our freeze drying machine can be designed to 10 degree C,which can avoid oil out without destroying nutrition and taste.
Step 2, cleaning and slicing the fish properly
You can use our multifunctioanl slicing machine(it has slicing blades with different size) to slice the fish.
Step 3,Brine the fish if possible. The solution is made by adding salt into the boiling water until it stops dissolving. Then put the sliced fish for several minutes and finally start the processing of drying.
Step4, drying fish
Put the boiled fish into the cabinet fish dryer. The sliced fish can be placed into the mesh trays or hung to dry. The most efficent to dry the fish is to remove the moisture from it. Generally trational dryers are hot air dryer to remove the moisture. There are some issues. One, the temperature is high,which results fish oil out.
